Our Assynt unit is designed with max storage in mind and features double slide out storage drawers that allow full width sleeping and seating options.

 

Each main drawer unit sits over the passenger and driver side wheel arches and uses a different sleeping setup to our Torridon/Schiehallion range. The bed mode is assembled by using infill panels that are slid into place down the middle space of each unit, these can be configured into a u-shaped seating setup and can also double as a table top (leg not included).

As standard each unit is 1800mm long and 406mm high, this is the same dimensions as our Torridon/Schiehallion range but as you essentially have twin units at 665mm wide the space in between the units is smaller at around 400mm depending on your van type. In a SWB this setup has to change slighty so you can still get in the sliding door, we would recommend a 1400mm long unit on each side then add the 400mm extension box to the driver side and a flip up bed extension to the passenger side. This will give you 1800mm on the right and 1400mm (1780mm with flip up bed extension). In a LWB the standard 1800mm long units on either side are ideal as they will come up to around the sliding door.

For SWB kombi setups the 1400mm plus 400mm extension is the best way forward, the seats can be removed and the 400mm extension box put in its place. In a LWB again you have 1800mm behind the seats so the standard 1800mm long units are ideal.
