We get asked this a lot so here is a list of what we do/don't do. What we do (do) - Fit our own furniture/floor/walls/roof panels. What we don't do - We’re not a traditional van conversion company – so things like windows, electrics, insulation, carpet lining aren’t in our remit. We ask that ALL install prep be carried out prior to a visit with us. Our current lead times for installs/collection are updated daily and are shown on the header of our website. We operate different lead times for small items/stock items which is generally 5-7 working days, these are all items found in our accessories section. If you require your item for a specific date please contact us prior to ordering and we will see what’s possible. Installation of our van furniture is at our farm location near Loch Lomond. Installation time and costs vary depending on the amount of furniture we're fitting and we offer services from 1hr to a full day. For a full install (floor, walls, ceiling and furniture) in a medium sized van we would require the van from 830am - 430pm where as a single item we may only need the van for an hour. Our fitting service includes all materials. TYPICAL COSTS L1 Fitting - £60 + VAT (1 item of furniture approx 1-2hrs) L2 Fitting - £170 + VAT (2-3 items of furniture approx 4hrs/half day) L3 Fitting - £280 + VAT (Full build of furniture, roof, walls, floor. All day 830am - 430pm) During the quote/invoice process we will let you know what level of fitting is best for your build Please see our INSTALL PREP (https://www.theplyguys.co.uk/install-prep-best-tips)section for more info on how your van should look prior to arriving with us for an install appointment We DO NOT undertake conversion services such as; diesel heater fitment, electric installs, window installs, lining / insulation etc More info on our install service here (https://www.theplyguys.co.uk/book-online) Please note, any install prep that hasnt been carried out may incur an additional charge on the day of fitting, we will always have a discussion prior to your build to assess what stage your van is in and to make sure it is ready to come to us for fitting. Order Changes: We can usually accept furniture and upholstery order changes up to 4 weeks before your scheduled build date. If you would like to make a change to your order please email: orderchanges@theplyguys.co.uk (mailto:orderchanges@theplyguys.co.uk)quoting the invoice number and your surname. We will acknowledge the change by return and update your build accordingly.

Yes, we’d love to see you at Ply Guys and it’s free to collect. When making your order please select ‘Collection’. We’ll advise you when you’re order is complete and you can make an appointment to collect. Collection times are Mon – Thurs: 0900-1730 and Fri 0900-1430

The clue is in the name…but we almost exclusively use sustainable Birch Ply

We use birch for our builds because it not only looks amazing but is strong, long lasting and resilient. In certain circumstances we recommend using coatings to protect the finish, particularly for the facings of Natural Birch or where the end grains may be exposed to water.

If you’ve gone for our Natural Birch finish you can customise your unit or furniture using paint. Obviously, if you’ve opted for one of our other finishes (like hexa) then please don’t…it looks amazing as it is.
