Our Flippy Uppy Bed Extension is designed to add extra sleeping length to your Clachan, Clachan Sorcha, Assynt or Torridon units to add an extra 380mm.
 
When choosing the correct version please make sure you select whether you have a Clachan or a Clachan Sorcha in a T5/6 or a Transit Custom.
 
If you dont have either of those van types van please check the tech specs for the dims to match the width to your current unit.
 
When fitted to a Clachan or Clachan Sorcha and paired with a Torridon or Assynt its allows a 1200 or 1400 Clachan/Clachan Sorcha to better match the length ot your bed system for the max amount of overall bed space possible.
 
For example
1800 Torridon on the right
1400 Clachan PLUS 380 bed ext will total 1780mm on the passenger side
or
1200 Clachan PLUS 380 bed ext will total 1580mm on the passenger side
 
If you are fitting this to the end of an Assynt  it is usually best paired with a 1400 Assynt where one side will use an Assynt Extension Box on either the left or right side to add extra length (1800mm total), the flip up bed extension will then be fitted to the end of the opposite side to add extra length and match the side with the extension box,
 
The flip up brackets mean that the product once fitted can be in either the down position (allowing for easy access in/out of your van) or the up position when in bed mode.
 
*IMPORTANT*
This is not a seat please dont sit on it, its not load bearing and wont support the weight of a person, remember its just for your legs to stretch out.
