The New Bruich Beag Kitchen Pod (Gaelic for "small cook") is the ultimate compact kitchen solution for your campervan. Designed to fit perfectly in Short Wheel Base (SWB) vans, it's also a seamless fit for Long Wheel Base (LWB) vehicles. Whether you're a weekend warrior or a full-time van dweller, the Bruich Beag is your go-to kitchen pod, offering functionality and style in one compact unit.
 
This pod is an ideal pairing with our Torridon and Clachan / Clachan Sorcha / Clachan Storadh or the Cuillin setup for a perfectly cohesive van interior.
 
The Bruich Beag is essentially a slimmed down version of the bigger Bruich Meadhan and includes the same features we love from its big brother. The neat slide-out drawer makes it easy to access your cooking station, and the lower tray fits a coolbox, fridge, or even a toilet, with 60kg-rated locking drawer runners. Alternatively, you can go for our core “adhair” version tailored for Flat pack storage up top and a bungee for a CADAC Cook 2 on the worktop.
 
We’ve designed the lower tray to fit a number of different coolboxes and fridges. Our favourite - the Yeti Tundra 35 works great in the tray here but you can also fit the Tundra 45, Dometic CFX2 28, and Dometic Recon 41. Alternatively, you can ditch the tray and fit a CRX50 fridge in this part of the unit too. 
 
Why the Yeti? Well we've tried them all and it's perfect for long weekends, no power required and super handy to have around the van. The Yeti Tundra 35 can be removed from the drawer and placed elsewhere in the van as additional seating when paired with one of our custom seat cushions and is the same height as our Torridon, Clachan and Cuillin van beds.
 
The pod is also compatible with a range of cooking units, with our preferred cooker being the CADAC Cook 2, known for its compact size and reliability. However, other units can fit perfectly as long as they meet the size specifications.
 
The worktop is crafted in natural birch ply, staying true to the signature Ply Guys aesthetic, and features a "flippy uppy" extension as standard. This offers extra workspace while maintaining perfect working clearance with our Torridon bed or matching Ply Guys van beds.
 
The Bruich Beag is complemented by our Torridon unequal slide-out bed, Clachan side storage unit, and mobile Thunderbox (compatible with a Thetford 335 or Trelino S). This setup offers ample storage space, load capacity for long gear like bikes and surfboards, and plenty of seating for entertaining, while maintaining excellent functionality. For SWB Transporters, the Bruich Beag kitchen pod works perfectly when paired with the Torridon and Clachan units, with the Thunderbox serving as a mobile pod that can be positioned wherever needed.
