Introducing the Bruich Beag Cu Kitchen Pod & Dog Crate – the ideal solution for adventurers who want to bring their furry companions along on road trips.
 
Crafted with compactness and convenience in mind, the Bruich Beag Cu kitchen pod offers a compact slide-out cook drawer paired with a versatile storage space suitable for your dog, coolbox, or even a toilet. Each drawer is equipped with 60kg rated and locking drawer runners, ensuring stability and security during travel.
 
The worktop features a natural birch ply design with a touch of Ply Guys style, complete with a standard "flippy uppy" feature. Crafted with a 3-inch upholstery, it's tailored to fit seamlessly with your Torridon or matching Ply Guys bed, providing optimal working clearance.
 
Designed to accommodate our preferred cooler, the unit is perfectly suited for housing the Yeti Tundra 35. Ideal for extended weekends, this cooler operates without the need for power and proves incredibly convenient for van life. Moreover, the Yeti Tundra 35 can be easily removed from the drawer and utilized as additional seating elsewhere in the van, aligning perfectly with our Torridon, Clachan, and Cuillin van beds. While the cooler isn't included in the price, we can provide guidance on where to purchase one if desired.
 
We recommend the CADAC as the preferred cooker unit for the Bruich Beag. It offers excellent value, compactness, and reliable performance. There's plenty of space to accommodate it, but it's always a good idea to double-check the dimensions provided below. Please note, the CADAC cooker unit is not included in the price.
 
Pictured above our Bruich Beag is fitted in a VW Transporter (T5 model) LWB. This is complimented with our Torridon unequal slide out bed, Clachan side storage unit and mobile Thunderbox (for a Thetford 335). This set up creates a huge amount of storage, usable load space for bikes, surf boards, or any other long gear, loads of seating for entertaining, and bags of functionality. The difference between a SWB VW Transporter and a LWB is 400mm of load space, this means if you move the Thunderbox a perfect set up in a SWB is a Bruich Beag kitchen pod paired with a Torridon and Clachan. The Thunderbox being a mobile pod can be relocated to the opposite and sit beside the Clachan – creating a longer extension for the sofa seating on that side.
 
Matching units
 
Perfectly combined with our Cuillin or Torridon Signature Series models. Measurements of these beds are 1800mm in length, so paired with the Bruich Beag Cu to give a total of 2300mm. So as long as your van has this load length as a minimum you'll be just grand.
 
Our ideal and recommended set up is a Bruich Beag Cu and a Torridon (plus additional Clachan if you fancy). You can have the Torridon with a cook station too or have it with storage box and dividers.

The addition, the Flippy Uppy extends the width of the worktop by 210mm, resulting in a total width of 710mm. This feature not only provides extra space but also serves as a convenient workspace for a laptop when seated on your Torridon. Additionally, it offers a perfect spot to place your beer, gin, or wine glass for easy access.
