Torridon: Unequal split sliding bed with extending storage / cook station

Our Torridon bed & storage system is our most popular unit featuring a pull out bed section and an extending rear drawer (1.4 metres) with optional cookstation or storage lockers.

The cook station setup offers one storage locker at each end of the drawer box with a shelf for a two burner cooker (perfect for a CADAC2 Pro) and storage below. The Storage version has 3 removable dividers which allow you to setup up the drawer box for your requirements. The two locker tops can also be placed on top and are the perfect size for cooking on!
We've included two pull out bed sections, the smaller of which allows for a L-shaped seating setup. This leaves loads of room for carrying bikes, boards and equipment or pair this with our Clachan or Sorcha wheel arch storage units for a full width bed and U-shaped seating option.
Our Torridon units are manufactured from 18mm and 12mm Birch Ply and can be finished in; Black Hexa or Natural Birch
The Torridon can be placed on either the RHS (drivers side) or LHS (passenger side) of your van. Note, in most SWB/L1 vans placing the Torridon on the LHS (passenger side) will result in an overhang of the sliding door of around 400mm
Into bikes? We can include a bike rail threshold cutout in the base of the Torridon unit to allow the fitment of a full width rail.
Small Vans
Our Torridon system can be fitted to smaller vans such as the VW Caddy SWB/Maxi, Ford Connect etc and is available in the following lengths (all at 366mm high)
- 1700mm (Please choose this option if you are adding our Bruich Biadh slide out kitchen pod)
- 1800mm (for Caddy Maxi, Connect L2)
Medium and Large Van Options
Available in the following lengths ; 1700mm, 1800mm (standard), 1900mm & 2000mm.
Our ‘Standard’ Torridon is 1800 x 406 and is the perfect size for most medium-sized vans (T4/5/6,6.1 Transit Custom, Vivaro, Trafic etc).

SWB Kombi Options
not applicable to LWB / L2 Vans as standard unit sizes (1800mm) will fit behind the seats
1400 x 406 - designed to work perfectly with our Torridon Extension Box.
Add the extension box to extend your sleeping length in a standard SWB Kombi from 1400mm to 1800mm when removing your Kombi seats.
You also have internal storage with front access to store dry goods, luggage and beer!
The unit can be bolted either to the floor or to the side of your Torridon or Schiehallion unit
Even if you don't have a kombi set up you can still pair this unit with any length of Torridon or Schiehallion to add another 400mm with even more seating and storage options, imagine a 1900mm Torridon extended to 2300mm!

1390 x 480 - designed to work with our upholstery option to bring the height of the unit up to the same height as the folded over seats. Height restricted for seating but provides a bed setup of 1800 x 1500 when paired with our Clachan unit.
1390 x 540 - designed to work at the same level as the folded over seats, this option gives you maximum storage and a large bed platform but for most is too high to sit on although It provides a bed setup of 1800 x 1500 when paired with our Clachan unit
