VW Caravelle Slide Out Storage Tray
We love the Caravelle but we didnt love the storage options... until now!
Fitted with 120kg load rated runners as standard and attaching directly to the existing rail system of the T5 / T6 & T6.1, our new VW Caravelle slide out storage tray will literally change how you use your van.
Whether your setup is a weekend camper or an everyday workhorse the storage options are huge. With easy access to all your equipment the tray can be used as a work or cookstation plus its the perfect height as a camping table.
This is a great option for barn doors or a tailgate version, which means you can shelter from the wind or stay out of the Scottish sun (we can only hope!)
We manufacture these bits of kit in different tray depths, as customers with Caravelles can move the rear seats back and forth on rails, giving effectively different sized rear storage capabilities.
We've created 5 different depths (measured from the rear doors of the van, back into the load space (towards the front of the van), all with the same width, loading capacity and mounting system (hand loch knobs into standard mounting rails).

The tray height to floor dimension detailed is for customers to calculate if an item will fit underneath and standard or aftermarket fitted Caravelle bed system, esentially the slide out tray surface is 51mm higher up than the standard floor once fitted. So if you are trying to see if a 450mm tall fridge (for example) will fit underneath your 550mm high bed plaform, then add 51mm to 450mm and bingo - you've got enough room (450mm + 51mm = 501mm, giving you 49mm of clearance). This is an illustrated example - please use your own measured dimensions.
